A little birdie told me.....

I made this card yesterday. I used my new cartridge "birthday bash". Color inspirations from Kristina Werner. In this card I have embossed the polka dots using my sizzix (embossing machine).

BGM - Black eyed peas "shut up". I just love Fergie's voice in this song.

Hope you enjoy the card. Comments and suggestions are welcome.

"Congratulations" card!!

I'm backkkkkkk!!

This card's theme is "Blue"

I have tried to depict "waves" as in the ocean.. For those waves I used "Ultra Thick Embossing Enamel".. The video will be clearer than my previous card-making video..

Inspirations from Kristina Werner

Pl do comment on this card.

BGM - Ricky Martin's Private Emotion.

My craft table gifted by Prasanna

More than me Prasanna is much interested in buying me more & more card-making goodies and also in providing all sorts of comforts for this card-making.. So he gifted me with this simply superb craft table.. Can I say that I'm the luckiest and gifted card-maker on earth!! He is more interested in getting me engaged into some activity which keeps me busy all the time and at the sametime he wants me to love whatever I do!! Sweetest husband ever!! Thank you God..

Purchased this table from "Home Centre", they had excellent offers!! This table is very compact and not that expensive..

Here are some pics of my Craft-table and few goodies.. Few more goodies are on its way :)  Excited!!

Red-hot Spicy Tomato-Onion Chutney - my Paatti's recipe !! slurpppp!!

என் இனிய தமிழ் மக்களே

For a change instead of "card-making" posts, I am posting one of the yummiest spicy tomato-onion chutney which is my பாட்டி's recipe. Atleast I had an interest to prepare and post this recipe in my Blog. I just love this chutney. This chutney can be prepared within 10 mins. Very easy and soooooo tasty.

Tomato-onion chutney will taste really good along with Idli, dosa, அரிசி உப்புமா and also curd rice. I used to eat this with plain rice also :) This can be spread over the dosa to prepare yummy mysore masala dosa or even on sada dosa. It tastes so Yummy!!

This is a great treat for breakfast, supper and also mid-evening.

Okay now for the recipe..

Ingredients:

Tomatoes - 2 nos (medium-sized)
Onion - 2 nos (normal-sized)
Tamarind - 1/4 of small lemon ( paste - 1/2 tsp)
Salt - 1 tsp
Red chillies - 12 oooooopss... (7-8 for non-spicy lovers)
(காய்ந்த மிளகாய் )

For seasoning:
Oil - 4-5 tsp
Mustard seeds - 1 tsp.

Method:
1. Grind all the above ingredients except salt.

2. In a heavy bottom kadai, I used traditional "இலுப்ப சட்டி", pour oil and mustard seeds. Wait for them to splutter.

3. Now add the mixture and stir well. Close the lid immediately as it will start to spill out.

4, After 5 mins, open the lid and add salt. Stir occasionally.
5. Let it boil for 7-8 mins.

Chutney ready!!!!!!

I have layered this chutney in between the idli batter and cooked (my mom's style), soooooooo tasty you know!!!! Miss you soooooooo much paatti!!  பாட்டி ஞாபகமா இருக்கு!!

Note: This is only for spicy lovers!!

Hope you all enjoyed!!
